Shipbuilding in Copenhagen

This picture didn’t quite turn out how I wanted it too. It’s very tempting to re-edit it and change and fix a few things but I decided to post it as it is. I still think it’s an ok pic. I don’t think I’ve ever seen shipbuilding with my own eyes before. The fact that it’s in the centre of Copenhagen in front of these colourful building makes it that much cooler.

Auschwitz

Auschwitz was originally built for political prisoners so it doesn’t look as depressing as Birkenau, another big camp close to it. But it still is a very sad place. There were a few people on the guided tour who couldn’t hold their tears and from what I’ve heard and seen it’s a common sight around these buildings. Some of my friends visited the camp in winter when it was full of snow and apparently it gives for even a more depressing environment. It’s hard to imagine how people were forced to live in dreadful conditions throughout harsh polish winters.

V in Ljubljana

I randomly came across these guys with masks from the movie “V for Vendetta”  just standing in the middle of the square and observing the people around. They’ve been awkwardly starting at some people so I decided to return the favour and stare back:) V for Vendetta is one of my favourite movies so I had to take a pic. It was against the sun but I think it didn’t turn out too bad.

Next to the Prešeren Square

I forgot what this building is but it’s on the Prešeren Square, a place you’re bound to pass many times if you ever visit Ljubljana city centre. Prešeren was a Slovene poet and as I’ve been told a very influential figure in Slovene literature.

Quiet Observer

This may not be the most interesting picture of this gorgeous city full of absolutely incredible architecture. But I do like capturing the simple moments that remind me of the little things I did in between sightseeing. This was my last day in Florence and my local friends took me out for pizza. As I turned around to glance at a plaza these women were passing by a carousel so I quickly grabbed my camera focused and snapped. It’s very pleasant place to have a pizza, no matter how it tastes. In case if you’re wondering it was yummy:)

(As always click on the pic for better quality:)
