This is one of the beaches on Juan de Fuca trail on Vancouver Island. Not the most beautiful beach on the trail with its big bulky rocks, but still a great place to sit back and relax to the sound of waves trying to reach the rocks.

Inside and out
I took this while the skytrain was stationary at the oakridge station in Vancouver. With people blocking the view coming in and out I didn’t have much time to take all 3 different exposures. Luckily I only needed 1 attempt.
Entering Yukon
This was during a motorcycle trip to northern Canada. I don’t quite remember if this was already in Yukon or still in British Columbia. If this wasn’t Yukon yet, it was mighty close.
Waterfront Skytrain Station (HDR)
This is a very ordinary scene, nothing special about it. A regular sight of people waiting for the skytrain at the waterfront station in Vancouver. Yet still a good example of what HDR really does to the photo. If you don’t know what HDR is, I’ve talked about it in one of the older posts with a photo of an old coffee shop in Ghent.
Above are the 3 exposures of the scene (0,-2,+2). None of them on its own truly capture the lighting or the colours of the scene. Combining those together with a bit of more work we get the result below. Much more interesting isn’t it?
Back Alley
Barcelona Beach
A beach in Barcelona with a cool looking structure and a stormy weather coming in.
