Road to Pemberton

This is slightly North of Whistler on the same 99 highway that leads to Pemberton. Most of the people who take this highway north never make it past this point because…. well because they don’t have to. I wasn’t going to Pemberton myself that day but ended up going slightly pass whistler because I was giving someone a ride.

It looks like it was a sunny day but I remember my hands were begging me to get back into the car and almost froze while I took this picture. Always a slight problem shooting in winter:D

Worth the effort?

Earlier this summer few of my friends and I went on a 3 day trail on the southwest of the Vancouver Island. Walking for 3 days straight to cover 50 km barely seeing any people really puts things into perspective. Especially when hitchhiking back to the beginning of the trail took us only 15 minutes. Can’t help but wonder how slow everything would be if we had to walk to places:)

The beauty of doing a trail like that is right in front of your eyes. Walking with a heavy backpack through the forests through the hills up and down and up and down is tiring and tedious but it all seems to be worth it when you eventually come to a place like this.

Girl in Coal Harbour

This is in Coal Harbour in Vancouver, the beautiful city I live in. Ironically not the place where I did most of my shooting. They had this little fountain for kids to play around and get wet. Even when it’s not raining you’re bound to get wet in this city:))
