I don’t usually take pictures during live shows or similar events for several reasons. For one there are often many other photographers aiming at the same thing at the same time. We won’t necessarily be getting the same results but it still takes the excitement of shooting away from me. Though socializing and sharing the experience with other photographers could be fun too. Another reason why I don’t do it is because I want to simply enjoy the show without worrying where my camera is.
I’ve expressed my admiration for Sons of Granville in my earlier posts about them. These guys do know how to put on an entertaining show. That particular day things went a little crazier than usual and it must have surely been my first time seeing an almost naked man play a viola (not something you see very often).
I do enjoy taking their pictures and It’s always hard to pick just a few to post. So I’ve decided not to limit myself and have 2 posts. I’ll post Part II sometime later in the week when I find time to finish the rest of the editing from that day.
